ALEX® Toys - Bathtime Fun Tooting Tugboat 826 User Reviews

Our son gets excited to go play with his boat. The little tut is quite impressive. It is a low pitched whistle that works every time.A bonus feature is that you can use this boat like a cup to pour water over your child when you need to get their hair wet for washing. It dries well and you don't have to worry about mold build up so long as you tip all the water out after each use.

I'm so sick of the bath squirters and my mother bought this while we were living with them for a short time. My son LOVED it from day one at 18 months and now at 3 years he still has fun with it. When you push down on it while it floats it makes a noise that sounds so realistic which he just loves and it's nice to have a toy that doesn't take batteries and a tub toy that doesn't get water every where.

My son has been playing with this sucker for 2 years now. Good quality and obviously fun.

It makes wuuu sound when you press the boat into the water. It is fun for bath time.

My son is 5 and he likes this tug boat quite a bit. It is rather large, but that makes it even better for little people to handle. It does have a rather realistic "Toot!". It is a great little Tug Boat!

My two-year old loves his new tugboat! I haven't tried to figure out how it works yet (scientifically), but all he has to do is submerge it in water and it makes great "toot-toot" sounds. We've only had it a month, so I don't know if cleaning it is a problem - there is an open part around the bottom that's kind of like a moat that allows water to get into the body, thus somehow making the sound. Overall, I highly recommend it!

This is by far the best bath toy ever! Trust me, my daughter has them all! There are no electronics to break, its simple, and perfect.

I was looking for some water toys for my 15 month old son.I saw this one and buy it...my son loves it.The boat is not as small as shown in the pictures...but its not that big as other reviewers said either. My son can handle it by himself perfectly. The boat has sort of a whistle which makes a sound as soon as you push it down the water. Its a very creative, simple and beautiful toy, fully recommended.

This toy is quite large and takes a lot of tub space but neither of my 2 year olds are interested in it. Maybe later they will enjoy it for pretend play but for now it is ignored. Hardly any sounds, I was not impressed.

Push the tugboat down in the bathwater to hear "TOOT" in two tones! Sound is created by air rushing through 2 whistles in the smoke stacks when pushed down in the tub. Two different whistle tones makes it sound just like a real tugboat.

Dusty Baker gets the axe in Cincinnati, but did he deserve it?

Posted October 04, 2013 For most managers, three playoff appearances in four years particularly with a small-market team will earn you a contract extension or at least allow you to keep your job. For Dusty Baker, it wasnt enough. The Reds won 90 games this year and earned a spot in the NL Wild-Card game, but less than 72 hours after they were steamrolled by the Pirates, owner Bob Castellini decided a change was needed, firing Baker with one year and between $3.5 and $4 million a high salary for a manager remaining on his contract. On the one hand, its a shocking move. The 64-year-old Baker had been at the helm of the Reds for six years, compiling a .524 winning percentage. Following a pair of sub-.500 finishes in 2008 and 2009, they won at least 90 games in three of the past four years, with 91 wins and an NL Central flag in 2010, 97 wins and another division title in 2012 and one of this years wild-card berths. Baker finished as runner-up in the NL Manager of the Year vo...
